Flashkit — Privacy Policy & Terms

Summary

Flashkit does not require an account. Your documents, photos, videos, voice recordings, transcripts, subtitles and translations are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, except your voice when you choose online speech recognition or turn on Flashkit Plus Translator (see below). The only data that leaves your device is described below: advertising (Google AdMob), app analytics and a small credit record (Google Firebase), purchases (Google Play / Apple) and plain file downloads of language, speech and voice models.

1. What stays on your device

Camera — used only while you scan a document or a QR code. Images are stored in the app's own storage or saved to your gallery when you choose to.
Microphone — used only in the voice translator, only while you hold the talk button. By default the recording is converted to text on your device and the temporary audio file is deleted right after. Conversation history is kept in memory only while the screen is open.
Photos and videos you pick — used for video creation, automatic subtitles and the background remover. Processing happens on your device; results are saved to your gallery only when you save them.
Text recognition, translation, speech recognition, subtitles, natural voice and background removal all run on your device.
Settings and counters (for example your chosen languages and the voice translator's daily time) are stored locally on your device.

Uninstalling the app deletes everything it keeps in its own storage (files you saved to your gallery stay there).

2. What leaves your device

Advertising — Google AdMob

The free version shows ads (banner, rewarded and interstitial). Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information and ad interactions to show and measure ads. See how Google uses data for ads. Flashkit Pro shows no ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

App analytics and security — Google Firebase

Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage events (for example app opens), device model, OS version, app version and approximate location derived from IP, to help us improve the app. It does not receive your content.
Firebase App Check verifies that requests come from the genuine app.
Cloud Firestore — credits. To keep your credit balance, we store a record containing a device identifier (the Android ID on Android; a random ID on iOS), your credit balance, whether the one-time Synapto reward was claimed, and the record's creation time. Nothing else is stored in it.

Online speech recognition — Google (optional)

In the voice translator you can turn on Online recognition (Google). It is off by default. When it is on and you are online, your voice is sent, while you hold the talk button, to your phone's speech recognition service (Google) only to be converted to text; Flashkit itself does not receive or store the audio. Google processes it under the Google Privacy Policy. Without internet, or when you turn it off, speech recognition runs on your device as described above.

Flashkit Plus Translator (optional)

Flashkit Plus Translator is an optional feature of the voice translator (a free 5-minute trial, then talk-time packs). It is off until you turn it on. While it is on and you are online, the recording you make by holding the talk button is sent to our server, which runs on Cloudflare's network (Cloudflare Workers AI), to be converted to text and translated; the text and the translation are sent back to your phone. The audio, the text and the translation are not stored on the server after the result is returned and are not used for anything else. To count your trial and your remaining talk time, the server keeps only: your device's identifier (the same one used for credits), the amount of speech time used and left, and, if you buy talk time, a record of each Google Play purchase (a fingerprint of the purchase token, the order number, the pack and the time it added). A Firebase App Check token is sent with each request so the server can confirm it is talking to the genuine app. Without internet, or when you turn it off, the voice translator works on your device as described above.

Purchases — Google Play / Apple

Flashkit Pro (monthly, yearly or lifetime) and Flashkit Plus Translator talk-time packs (one-time purchases) are sold through Google Play or the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by the store; we never receive your payment details. The app asks the store whether you own Pro; for Flashkit Plus Translator our server asks Google Play whether your purchase is valid.

Model and file downloads

Some features download files the first time you use them: speech recognition models, translation language packs and models, natural voice files and fonts. They are downloaded from our download server (Cloudflare), Hugging Face, GitHub/jsDelivr and Google (ML Kit). These are plain downloads: only standard request information such as your IP address is seen by those servers, and none of your content is sent.

Synapto

The app checks whether our game Synapto is installed on the same device, to grant the one-time credit reward. No other information about your installed apps is read or sent.

3. Children

Flashkit is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

4. Your choices and deletion

You can deny camera or microphone permission; only the related feature stops working.
You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
To delete your credit record or your Flashkit Plus Translator usage record, email us from the app's contact address; we will delete it. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.

5. Flashkit Plus Translator talk time

One-time purchases, not a subscription. Talk time is sold in packs of 1, 5 or 10 hours. Each purchase is paid once and never renews automatically. New time is added to the time you already have. You can hold up to 50 hours at a time; packs that would go over this limit cannot be bought until you have used some of your time.
What is counted. Only speech time is counted: the length of the recording sent to our server, or, when Google recognition is used, how long you hold the talk button. Waiting, reading and listening are not counted. The free trial is used first, then your purchased time. A conversation turn that has started is always finished, even if your time runs out during it.
No expiry. Purchased time does not expire.
Tied to this phone. Purchased time is assigned to the phone you bought it on (its device identifier). If you uninstall and reinstall the app, your time is kept. If you reset your phone or switch to another phone, the remaining time cannot be transferred. No account or sign-in is used.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. If a purchase is refunded, the time it added may be removed.
If your time did not arrive. Tap "Check purchases" on the Flashkit Plus page. If that does not help, email us your Google Play order number (GPA.…) and the support code shown at the bottom of the Flashkit Plus page.
If the service ends or changes. If we decide to end Flashkit Plus Translator, we will announce it in the app at least 90 days in advance, and you can use your remaining time during that period. For reasons outside our control, such as our infrastructure providers, the service may be interrupted temporarily or may end sooner; in that case we will announce it as soon as possible. The AI models used may be replaced with newer ones over time.
AI translation. Transcription and translation are produced by AI models and may contain mistakes (see section 6).
Flashkit Plus Translator is separate from Flashkit Pro; Pro does not include it. It needs an internet connection.

6. Terms for AI features

Subtitles, translations and the natural voice are produced by AI models and may contain mistakes; do not rely on them for medical, legal, safety-critical or emergency communication.

High-quality translation uses Tencent's Hy-MT2 model (Apache License 2.0). The natural voice uses the Supertonic model, licensed under the BigScience OpenRAIL-M license. As required by that license, you agree not to use the natural voice or its output:

in any way that violates any applicable national, federal, state, local or international law or regulation;
to exploit, harm or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way;
to generate or disseminate verifiably false information with the purpose of harming others;
to generate or disseminate personal identifiable information that can be used to harm an individual;
to generate or disseminate information or content, in any context, without expressly and intelligibly disclaiming that it is machine-generated, where that is misleading;
to defame, disparage or otherwise harass others;
to impersonate or attempt to impersonate others;
for fully automated decision-making that adversely impacts an individual's legal rights or otherwise creates or modifies a binding, enforceable obligation;
for any use intended to or which has the effect of discriminating against or harming individuals or groups based on online or offline social behavior or known or predicted personal or personality characteristics;
to exploit any of the vulnerabilities of a specific group of persons based on their age, social, physical or mental characteristics, in order to materially distort their behavior in a manner that causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm;
for any use intended to or which has the effect of discriminating against individuals or groups based on legally protected characteristics or categories;
to provide medical advice and medical results interpretation;
to generate or disseminate information for the purpose of being used for administration of justice, law enforcement, immigration or asylum processes, such as predicting an individual will commit fraud or crime.

1. Cihazınızda kalanlar

Uygulamayı kaldırmak, uygulamanın kendi alanında tuttuğu her şeyi siler (galeriye kaydettiğiniz dosyalar orada kalır).

2. Cihazınızdan çıkanlar

Reklam — Google AdMob

Ücretsiz sürüm reklam gösterir (şerit, ödüllü ve geçiş). Google AdMob, reklam göstermek ve ölçmek için cihazınızın reklam kimliğini, IP adresini, cihaz ve uygulama bilgilerini ve reklam etkileşimlerini toplayabilir. Ayrıntı: Google reklamlarda verileri nasıl kullanır. Flashkit Pro'da reklam yoktur. Reklam kimliğinizi cihaz ayarlarından sıfırlayabilir ya da silebilirsiniz.

Uygulama analitiği ve güvenlik — Google Firebase

Firebase Analytics, uygulamayı geliştirmek için anonim kullanım olaylarını (ör. uygulamanın açılması), cihaz modelini, işletim sistemi ve uygulama sürümünü ve IP'den çıkarılan yaklaşık konumu toplar. İçeriğinizi almaz.

Flashkit Plus Çevirmen (isteğe bağlı)

Flashkit Plus Çevirmen, sesli çevirmenin isteğe bağlı bir özelliğidir (5 dakikalık ücretsiz deneme, sonra konuşma süresi paketleri). Siz açana kadar kapalıdır. Açıkken ve internet varken, konuş düğmesini basılı tutarak yaptığınız kayıt metne çevrilmek ve çevrilmek üzere Cloudflare ağında çalışan sunucumuza (Cloudflare Workers AI) gönderilir; metin ve çeviri telefonunuza geri gönderilir. Ses, metin ve çeviri, sonuç döndükten sonra sunucuda saklanmaz ve başka hiçbir amaçla kullanılmaz. Denemenizi ve kalan konuşma sürenizi saymak için sunucu yalnızca şunları tutar: cihazınızın kimliği (kredilerde kullanılanla aynı), kullanılan ve kalan konuşma süresi ve konuşma süresi satın alırsanız her Google Play satın almasının kaydı (satın alma jetonunun parmak izi, sipariş numarası, paket ve eklediği süre). Ödemeyi tamamen mağaza yapar; ödeme bilgileriniz bize hiçbir zaman ulaşmaz. Uygulama mağazaya Pro'ya sahip olup olmadığınızı sorar; Flashkit Plus Çevirmen için sunucumuz satın almanızın geçerli olup olmadığını Google Play'e sorar.

Model ve dosya indirmeleri

3. Çocuklar

Flashkit 13 yaşın (ya da ülkenizdeki en düşük yaşın) altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir; onlardan bilerek kişisel veri toplamayız.

4. Seçimleriniz ve silme

Kamera ya da mikrofon iznini vermeyebilirsiniz; yalnızca ilgili özellik çalışmaz.
Reklam kimliğinizi cihaz ayarlarından sıfırlayabilir ya da kişiselleştirilmiş reklamları kapatabilirsiniz.
Kredi kaydınızın ya da Flashkit Plus Çevirmen kullanım kaydınızın silinmesi için bize e-posta gönderin; sileriz. Uygulamayı kaldırmak cihazınızdaki her şeyi siler.

5. Flashkit Plus Çevirmen konuşma süresi

Tek seferlik satın alım, abonelik değil. Konuşma süresi 1, 5 ya da 10 saatlik paketlerle satılır. Her satın alım bir kez ödenir, otomatik yenilenmez. Yeni süre mevcut sürenize eklenir. Aynı anda en çok 50 saat biriktirebilirsiniz; bu sınırı aşacak paket, sürenizin bir kısmını kullanana kadar satın alınamaz.
Ne sayılır. Yalnız konuşma süresi sayılır: sunucumuza gönderilen kaydın uzunluğu ya da Google tanıması kullanılıyorsa konuş düğmesini basılı tuttuğunuz süre. Bekleme, okuma ve dinleme sayılmaz. Önce ücretsiz deneme, sonra satın aldığınız süre kullanılır. Başlamış bir konuşma, süreniz o sırada bitse de tamamlanır.
Son kullanma yok. Satın alınan sürenin son kullanma tarihi yoktur.
Bu telefona tanımlıdır. Satın alınan süre, satın aldığınız telefona (cihaz kimliğine) tanımlanır. Uygulamayı silip yeniden kurarsanız süreniz korunur. Telefonunuzu sıfırlarsanız ya da başka telefona geçerseniz kalan süre aktarılamaz. Hesap ya da giriş kullanılmaz.
İade. İadeler Google Play iade kurallarına göre Google Play tarafından yapılır. İade edilen satın almanın eklediği süre geri alınabilir.
Süreniz gelmediyse. Flashkit Plus sayfasında "Satın alımları kontrol et"e dokunun. Olmazsa Google Play sipariş numaranızı (GPA.…) ve Flashkit Plus sayfasının en altındaki destek kodunu bize e-postayla gönderin.
Hizmet sona ererse ya da değişirse. Flashkit Plus Çevirmen'i kendi kararımızla sona erdirirsek bunu en az 90 gün önceden uygulamada duyururuz; bu sürede kalan sürenizi kullanabilirsiniz. Altyapı sağlayıcılarımızdan kaynaklanan, elimizde olmayan nedenlerle hizmet geçici olarak kesilebilir ya da daha kısa sürede durabilir; bu durumda da en kısa sürede duyururuz. Kullanılan yapay zekâ modelleri zamanla daha yenileriyle değiştirilebilir.
Yapay zekâ çevirisi. Yazıya dökme ve çeviri yapay zekâ modelleriyle yapılır, hata içerebilir (bkz. 6. bölüm).
Flashkit Plus Çevirmen, Flashkit Pro'dan ayrıdır; Pro bunu içermez. İnternet bağlantısı gerekir.

6. Yapay zekâ özellikleri için koşullar

Altyazılar, çeviriler ve doğal ses yapay zekâ modelleriyle üretilir ve hata içerebilir; tıbbi, hukuki, güvenlik açısından kritik ya da acil durum iletişiminde bunlara güvenmeyin.

Yüksek kaliteli çeviri Tencent'in Hy-MT2 modelini (Apache 2.0 lisansı) kullanır. Doğal ses, BigScience OpenRAIL-M lisansı ile lisanslanan Supertonic modelini kullanır. Bu lisansın gereği olarak doğal sesi ya da çıktısını aşağıdaki amaçlarla kullanmamayı kabul edersiniz:

yürürlükteki herhangi bir ulusal ya da uluslararası yasayı veya düzenlemeyi ihlal edecek şekilde;
küçükleri herhangi bir şekilde istismar etmek ya da onlara zarar vermek (veya buna teşebbüs etmek) için;
başkalarına zarar vermek amacıyla doğruluğu kanıtlanabilir biçimde yanlış bilgi üretmek ya da yaymak için;
bir kişiye zarar vermek için kullanılabilecek kişisel tanımlayıcı bilgi üretmek ya da yaymak için;
yanıltıcı olduğu durumlarda, makine tarafından üretildiğini açıkça belirtmeden bilgi ya da içerik üretmek veya yaymak için;
başkalarını karalamak, küçük düşürmek ya da taciz etmek için;
başkasını taklit etmek ya da taklide teşebbüs etmek için;
bir kişinin yasal haklarını olumsuz etkileyen ya da bağlayıcı bir yükümlülük doğuran tamamen otomatik karar verme için;
kişileri ya da grupları çevrim içi/dışı sosyal davranışlarına veya bilinen ya da tahmin edilen kişisel özelliklerine göre ayrımcılığa uğratmak ya da onlara zarar vermek amacıyla;
belirli bir grubun yaş, sosyal, fiziksel ya da zihinsel özelliklerinden kaynaklanan zayıflıklarını, davranışlarını fiziksel ya da psikolojik zarar verecek şekilde çarpıtmak için istismar etmek amacıyla;
kişileri ya da grupları yasayla korunan özelliklerine göre ayrımcılığa uğratmak amacıyla;
tıbbi tavsiye vermek ve tıbbi sonuç yorumlamak için;
yargı, kolluk, göç ya da iltica süreçlerinde kullanılmak üzere bilgi üretmek ya da yaymak için (ör. bir kişinin dolandırıcılık ya da suç işleyeceğini tahmin etmek).

7. Değişiklikler

Uygulama değiştikçe bu sayfayı güncelleyebiliriz. Sayfanın başındaki tarih son sürümü gösterir.
